meet the founder
Brontë King
Founded in June 2019 by 23 year old graduate Brontë King, Brontë started gals who graduate after graduating from the University of Reading studying film and television. When leaving university her summer was filled with uncertainty and the dreaded question of 'what next?'. She started gals who graduate from her bedroom to reach out to other girls feeling the same way. It has now grown into a community exisiting on Facebook and Instagram with a combined reach of over 80,000 girls worldwide.
what the
gals say
"Post-graduate depression is definitely real
and this group is a reminder that you are not alone"
"I use GWG for tips and advice but also reading the positive quotes on the Instagram before job interviews"
"I love this page and how you offer support to graduates in some of the most difficult years of their life"
"Just wanted to say how much I love this page – I struggled to make friends at uni and so this has been a great place to feel part of a uni culture."
"GWG has helped me find two houses in Bristol and a flat in Brixton with incredible housemates who are now close friends. Thank you!"
"It makes me feel like I can conquer the world! I use it to feel motivated when I'm down."
